G'Day Friend Card for my Technique Tuesdays.

 Today I am sharing a card I created for this weeks Color Dare Challenge #450 and a video on how I created my card.

The challenge from Color Dare was to use the image below as inspiration.

I found the colours of the Peacocks tail to be my inspiration today and I did a masking tape inking technique on my card.

The Blossoming Friendship Stamp & Thin-cuts isn't a set that I have seen a lot when doing a google or Pinterest or google search and it needs more love in my opinion 😀

I'm still not as confident as I would like to be when making videos but I will get there I am sure. These first few videos will show how I am improving over time and I am learning a lot about YouTube in the process 😊

The above card was my prototype/ practice run on creating this card.

Matchbook Card - It's Been awhile

 It's been ages since I made a Matchbook Card. I really enjoyed this Challenge over at Craft Roulette Show. 

The Parameter's for this weeks show were 

Project: Matchbook Card

Colours: Red plus 2

Element : Morning
Random: Splatters

This is my take on the challenge:

Colours Candy Apple Red, Lemonade and Peach. Holographic, Black and White are neutral colours and are allowed freely.
Element: My element is the sun for the morning.
Random: My splatter colours are Red, Lemonade and Peach shimmer brush as these are the colours of the morning sunrise that I see from my back yard.

This is show number #67 and my second entry into the show.

Technique Tuesday #1

 I'm not really 100% tech savvy but today I started a YouTube channel for my crafting. My 1st video is about using Shimmer Brushes to create a splatter background. I find public speaking or speaking on videos quite difficult but it is something that I want to be able to do well in the future.

My Fur Babies.

As I said in my into I have 3 fur babies that I share my home with.

Today I thought I would introduce and show them off to you 😁

This is Tramp and he is now 12 weeks old.

This is Dexter and he has been with me for the past 8 years. He just loves it when I get a Close To My Heart delivery and claims the pizza box as his own once I have emptied it every time 😂

And last but not least this is my gorgeous dog Lady. She is very much a great mum to Tramp and has been since the day he arrived into our home. Lady is 7 years old.

I'm a little bit of a Disney nut and that is where Lady and Tramp got their names from. Dexter was named from the TV show of the same name by my youngest daughter.

Craft Roulette

 Craft Roulette episode #65 was my 1st time entering these fun challenges.

This is my take on the challenge of card with patterned paper, 4 colours, tone on tone, smile or smiles.

Close To My Heart and I

I have been a Close To My Heart Maker (Consultant) since August 2019. Before joining them I was scrapbooking and card making for around 25 years. See I told you it was a passion of mine 😂
